About us and our mission: Welcome friends! Price Lake Boat Rentals is a small, family owned business and an authorized concessioner of the National Park Service. We are located on Price Lake at milepost 297 of the Blue Ridge Parkway. We're excited to be a part of and help carry out the Park Service mission of preserving and protecting our national parks and federal lands for future generations. We look forward to helping you fall in love with the beauty of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
ABOUT THE AREA
Where to begin? An entire day and then some can be well spent in Julian Price Park. For detailed information on hiking trails and camping we recommend checking out the National Park Service page located here. To our south lies Grandfather Mountain with hiking and views for miles. Just to our north is historic downtown Blowing Rock with dining and shopping. Price Lake has two designated parking areas to enjoy views and recreational activities. If you're traveling to Price Lake heading south, you will cross over the dam, pass the Julian Price Campground, and then you will see a sign telling you to turn left for boat rental and amphitheater. Price Lake Boat Rentals is located in that parking area, along with the free public boat launch.
